Maleah "Mvleah" Bocage is a New Orleans born and raised singer/songwriter. She creates R&B songs that blend with other genres, creating emotionally rich songs. Her work explores emotion, self reflection, and quiet complexities of internal experiences. She is driven by feelings and personal experience, which leads to experimentation with tone, texture and vocal expression. "I love to make songs pretty", says Mvleah with harmonies being her favorite part of recording. Her approach to each song is an opportunity to create an atmosphere where listeners have space to connect and reflect.
She always knew she was an artist, singing her first solo at the age of four in church, to playing in recitals and performing in stage productions throughout her childhood. Her work is a lifelong dedication to music. She earned her B.A. in Music Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she studied both the creative and professional sides of the music industry. While currently serving as a Director for an arts presenting organization in Lafayette, LA, she is actively expanding her music catalog. Her original music has been distributed on all major digital streaming platforms and performed in venues like Feed N Seed, The Brassroom, and others in Lafayette, LA.
